Total Vacancies:
A total of 406 posts are available under the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2025.
Application Dates:Online application starts from 28th May 2025 and the last date to apply is 17th June 2025 till 11:59 PM.
Eligibility Criteria:
Army Wing: 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
Air Force & Naval Wings: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Age Limit:Only unmarried male and female candidates born between 01-01-2007 and 01-01-2010 are eligible.
Application Fee:
Rs. 100/- for General/OBC candidates.
No fee for SC/ST/Female/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs.
Vacancy Breakdown:
Army: 208 posts (incl. 10 for females)
Navy: 42 posts (incl. 5 for females)
Air Force: Flying – 92, Ground Duty Tech – 18, Ground Duty Non-Tech – 10
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36 posts (incl. 4 for females)
Selection Process:Candidates will be selected based on written examination and SSB Interview conducted by the UPSC and Service Selection Boards respectively.
Stipend During Training:Cadets receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 56,100/- during training in Service academies.
Salary Structure After Commission:
Lieutenant starts at Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500 (Level 10).
Ranks go up to COAS with fixed salary of Rs. 2,50,000/-.
Military Service Pay: Rs. 15,500/- for ranks Lt to Brig.
