Steps to Login to EPFO Member Portal

For employees and employers to log on to the EPFO portal, they must first activate their UAN. The process of activating UAN is very simple and can be done online on the EPFO portal. UAN is allotted by EPFO to each member of the EPF scheme. Employees can also find their UAN from their employer or in most cases it can be found on the payslip. Below is the procedure for logging into the EPFO portal for employees and employers:

Below is the procedure for the employees to log into the EPFO portal:

Firstly the employees have to visit the EPFO website https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php or https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.

Once the employee is on the EPFO website, he has to go to ‘Services’ and click on ‘For Employees’.

On the next page, the employee has to click on ‘Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)’. The link can be found under ‘Services’.

On the new page, the employee has to enter his UAN and password. Along with those details, the employee also needs to enter the provided captcha details.

Next, the employee has to click on ‘Sign In’.

The next page will go to the EPFO portal of the employee. Employees can update their Know Your Customer (KYC) details, claim their PF amount, check their PF balance and transfer their PF amount on the EPFO portal.

EPFO Portal for Employers

Below is the procedure for employers to log in to the EPFO portal:

Firstly, the employer has to visit the EPFO employer login page which is https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/#.

Next, the employer needs to enter the username and password, and click on ‘Sign In’.
